Orange Shirt Day and Terry Fox Run Friday

Good afternoon!

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is our Terry Fox run(bring a Toonie) and assembly and we are also recognizing Orange Shirt day.  We talked in class today about a First Nations woman named Phyllis who was sent to a Residential school and had her new orange shirt taken away from her on her first day of school. Phyllis's message is that every child matters.  The students did some great writing about how they can make sure that they show others that they matter.
